Good systems for reserving meeting rooms

We are asking our employees to come into the office two or three days a week and trying to figure out a good way to reserve rooms for larger team meetings or 1:1 meetings. We have different size spaces and open working areas with desks. We are talking about listing either outside the room what time that specific office space is available or booked so that if someone can book it last minute without having to talk to me.

Do any of you use a booking system using iPads or Skylight Calendar or something else? What works with outlook calendars? I would love it to display in real time either in front of each the doors or a big tv at the front entry that they can add to. Thoughts? What’s worked? Help!

The company I was at about 10 years ago used Outlook for conference room reservations if I remember correctly - things have probably changed in Outlook but I think each room had a profile in Outlook so that a meeting request could be created and then that room added as an attendee. Again, this was a long time ago so my memory is fuzzy!

Thanks Lori! We currently use Outlook but more so wondering if there’s a way to display the calendars somewhere for people to glance at or book there for open rooms. It’s usually between meeting everyone panics to find a space for their next meeting so they don’t always open up their outlooks to see what rooms are open to book that way.
